"Even though I had a degree, it did not gaurantee a job, no one was building, developing or hiring inexperienced planners."  Mauro then pursued graduate courses in business for the next year, acquiring a valuable background in  business and finance. During this time he also worked in construction and learned a great deal about  real estate building and development.
